Mini watering can

Hello all,

I am back with another project for you all. This time I decided to create a mini watering can that I purchased the file from SVG Cuts. It is actually a mother's day kit but I decided to use it has a birthday project for my grandmother instead.

I used EK Success brand of paper that I received has a gift from Exploring Cricut for this project. Same thing for the brads and the chip board happy birthday. You could easily put happy mothers day instead of birthday and make this project a mothers day project instead. For the flowers I used the same SVG Cuts file just instead of the watering can file I used the flowers from the small glove box file.

I plan on putting the necklace that I bought for my grandmother wrapped in tissue paper inside the mini watering can along with the flowers. She loves flowers so that's why I decided to put flowers inside the watering can. I really hope she likes it.

Cake any one

Ok so I have been working on this project since Monday and I finally finished it last night. I wanted to post it last night but it was too late. I am very happy with the way it came out it was a lot of work considering I had to cut the box out twice and some other things I will explain further down. So cake any one?

I decided I wanted to make a cake like project since I have a lot of that sweets related papers. For my cake slices I used Lettering Delights Cake Favor Boxes SVG file. The paper I used was from DCWV the Sweet Stack.

I also cut a strip of brown card stock and embossed it with the divine swirls and attached it to both sides of the cake slices to give it that chocolate filled effect. For the strawberry I used a file from the SVG Shop called Strawberry Favors and a basket.

Here is the part I was talking about cutting twice I wanted to make it look like a cake in a box ready to take to a party. So I decided to cut a cake box. Well I most have some how sized the top different from the bottom because when I had everything put together the top and bottom didn't fit, so I had to recut the bottom again. Oh well it's ok because I love how it came out. I got the cake box file SVG Cuts Caramel Apple Pie set.

You can fill the cake slices with candy or any favors you like and even the strawberries can be filled with some candies also. I really enjoyed making this project even though it seemed like it took forever.

Concrete truck

I usually don't do many boy themed things since I have a 2year old daughter but today I decided to work on a boy themed project. I was inspired to create this from Thienly from Mod Paperie. She created a dump truck that was super cute which made me think what else could i create from this truck. So without further ado I present to you my creation.

I had been thinking about this since I saw the truck file Ryan's play date on SVG Cuts website. So I thought what else could I do with this file and I remembered about the egg container SVG cuts had released on the Popular Streets Tulips file and the idea came to me, why not create a concrete truck. So I did.

I kept the truck sizes the same but the egg file I shrunk it down to a smaller size so it would fit on the truck. I closed off the back of the truck first and then I attached the concrete container. I used a wooden stick that went from inside the egg through the top of it and to the back window. I used a glue dot to attach it to the back window.
I really hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Teapot

Ok so my mom asked me to make her a Birthday card related to tea. When she told me this I went blank. I couldn't think of anything. Then I started thinking and remembered that Lettering Delights had come out with a 3d teapot set. But how was I going to incorporate a card in there? Then it hit me,I remember seeing a pop up slider card so I took the pop up portion of that and incorporated into my teapot

Here it is closed up and looking cute

Here it is with the pop up slider attached to the teapot lid. So when you pull up the lid the little card pulls up with it.

Finally here is the card outside of the pop up slider pocket. For the tiny card I used Make the Cut to type up the saying and insert the tea cup then I just printed it. Then I cut another teacup out and pop dotted it on top of the printed teacup.
My mom really loved it and even asked me to make her one out of blue and white paper though. So I guess I will be making another but with the 3D teacup to match.

Cupcake stand

Good evening
I hope everyone is having a great day. For my project today I was inspired by a cute hello kitty cupcake stand thingy ( I don't know what it's called so I just named it thingy) the inspiration came from the following picture:

The pic on the left. I think they are like a cute table with a cover. Whatever it is, it inspired me.

I used an SVG Cuts file Happy Birthday to You to create this project. I just altered it a bit and used a stick which I covered with paper and hot glued it to the top and bottom to make sure it stays standing up. I also used a free 3D bow file from SVG Cuts also for the hello kitty look a like bow on top of the cupcake. I used different color stickles to decorate the top to make it look like sprinkles. I left the bottom hollow so you could put some treats inside and give as a gift to someone( I don't think I will be giving this away I like it to much).

Cookies anyone

Did I ever mention that I do not like weeding through my cuts. I am not a very patient person when it comes to weeding a cut with tiny cuts. My mat that I used is not all that sticky anymore and the file that I used was not that great. I'm unsure of where I even got it from. I have been having a paper with chocolate chips on it for a while now not knowing what exactly I wanted to do with it. Well I thought why not use it with cookie monster since he loves chocolate cookies. So I did just that.

I just used a pre made white card for the base and then cut that chocolate chip paper for the background then I took my circle punch and punched out that circle and stamped it with a My Thought Exactly stamp from there Sweet Thoughts stamps and stamped it on that circle.

For the inside I just typed up what I wanted it to say and printed it on white card stock.

Beach bum

I'm back! I'm sorry that I have been gone longer then expected I had a lot of catching up to do when I got back from my mini vacay. Any who I got a beach themed 12x12 layout to show you all today. I plan on putting pictures of my daughter playing at the beach in these.

Well where do I start. Lol;) I could not begin to explain all the sizes that I cut to create this since I started it before my vacation. I did use Lettering Delights for my cuts. I used the following files: Soak up the sun for the bathing suit, swimming trunks, sand castle, bucket, umbrella, tote, sunglasses, sun, beach ball, and flip flops, Something Fishy for the crab, sea shell, star fish and clam, Slumber Party for the sunscreen bottle, Dress up Paper Dolls for the little girl.As far as the palm tree and beach chair I am not sure where I got these files from. for the words Beach bum I just typed them up in Make the Cut and print and cut the file.

I also used some twine, stickles, dimensionals, and the cuttlebug for the sand. For the cute little girl I used Peachy Keen Wide eyed kids stamp for her face and the face on the sun.

I really hope you enjoy my layout and if any one has any questions about feel free to message me.

Spring flowers

When I first thought about my flower project I was actually thinking about it as a gift to give my grandmother for Easter. Well...when I started working away at it and finishing it up I really really liked so I decided to not give it to her. I know I know you are probably thinking that's mean, well my grandmother got real ones inside. She enjoys those better. Back to my project, well I started cutting out a bunch of flowers from the 3d flowers file from SVG Cuts using my Silhouette Cameo machine and my Cricut Imagine for some flowers using the Flower Shoppe cartridge. I figured this would speed up the cutting process. Well it did but then I got confused with what went with what and ended up spending more time trying to figure it all out. So not so great of an idea. All I know is I ended up with more pieces then I needed and I left some flowers out since they were not complete. Lol:)

I do know that I cut the bushel basket using an SVG cuts file called Caramel Apple Pie. Once I worked out everything the best way I could I was able to put a cute project together I believe. I couldn't tell you want paper I used or what all I used since I was so stressed out trying to figure out all of the pieces but it's ok the project was worth it.

I used a Martha Stewart punch for the butterfly's along with Martha Stewart glitter.

BANG!!!

I was trying to think of a card to make for my brothers birthday which is tomorrow but I could only think of girlie things instead of manly things. I always get stuck when it comes to making a card for man. Any who he likes Batman and a lot of other comic characters so I decided to go with something in that field. My favorite Batman characters are the Joker and Harley Quinn and since my brother had gotten me a collectors Harley Quinn statue I figured why not make him a card with her on it.

I found a pic online and printed it out and colored in with my Copics. I then trimmed her down and pop dotted her up on the card. I love the background paper it just goes perfectly with her. For the sentiment on the front I used a stamp from My Thoughts Exactly

For the inside sentiment I typed it up and just printed it out.
I really love how this card turned out and I really hope he enjoys it too.

3d birdcage

Happy Easter !!!

I hope everyone is having a good fun filled Easter I know I sure am. Well I have a 3D birdcage cage to share with you all today. I used the SVG Cuts Playful Parlor file for the birdcage and Lettering Delights Hops and Tweets 3D for the birdie and the eggs inside

It was really hard for me to take a picture of the birdie inside since the birdcage was in the way. I do apologize for the not so good pic. The birdies sitting on a little swing like thing that I created by welding shapes together until I got the desired look. It is so much cuter in person believe me.

Sleep over invite

When I first saw the Lettering Delights Slumber Party Cut it set I knew I had to create something with it but what I thought. It has the cutest files on it. Well one of my cousins is planning on having a sleep over so I thought great I could use this file to create invite for her to hand out to her friends.

I chose to use the little girl laying in her sleeping bag for the invite. So to make it unique I thought why not make it so the little girl pulls out of the sleeping bag and that's where the party information is. So I did just that.

I had to play with the file a little to get it to work but I got it. Then when I was getting ready to put it all together I realized that I did not have a stamp that said sleep over I had a stamp for all of the rest of the information except one that said sleep over. So I had to go back and do print and cut on the pull out part so that I could get it exactly like I wanted. In the end it turns out that it makes the process a lot faster then having to stamp all the information. Hope you likey.

12x12 Easter layout

Hello all,

I have a really cute Easter layout to share with you all today. It is only a single page layout but I think it came out really adorable.

I used a couple different files to create this layout. I used an SVG Cuts April Avenue file for the bunny, the green accent on the top right, and for the bow on the top left. For the title, chickie, and eggs I used a lettering delights file called Easter bestie. The bees came from a lettering delights file called bugaboo.

I used print and cut for the Easter basket, title, bees, and flowers. The rest of the pieces I pierced together. I really hope you enjoy this layout as much as I do. If you have any questions feel free to message me.

Tooth fairy 2

Ok I am back with my last dental project for now. This time it's a double 12x12 layout. I created this to document my daughter's dental surgery she had to have.

I used a combination of papers from my stack. I also used the lettering delights file Dear Tooth Fairy again. For the font of my title I used Mickey mouse font from dafont.com. This layout will hold a 4x6 picture and two 3x3 pictures. I used some pop dots, stickles, twine, and glossy accents for added details. The tooth on the left side also has a tag behind it for extra documentation.

I used her hospital band and the dental mirror as a way to just slide in your picture without having to glue it down. Same thing for the tooth brush and dental pic. I know its a little plain but I believe in this case it fits the situation well. Come back tomorrow for another 12x12 layout I have been working on and I finally got to finish.

Dear tooth fairy

Even though it's still early for me to start thinking about the tooth fairy since my daughter is only two and just getting her teeth not losing them, I thought I would get a head start on creating things for her for when she does need it. I saw this adorable Lettering Delights file called Dear Tooth Fairy and I just had to cut some things out immediately.

I made a card, a box to put her tooth in when she loses it, and I used print and cut to create the little record card on the right side. I was planning on printing and cutting a little from the tooth fairy but I totally forgot about it. I really like the record card since she can mark what tooth she lost, the date, her age, and tooth number. I think that when she's older and looking back and has all of these records, she will really enjoy it.

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see what I am up to.
