Mom

Ok so mothers day is right around the corner and so far I have only created one card. I am really behind. Well anyways I hope that you all like and understand my card. My husband seems to think I should have used a different saying. You will understand what I mean when you see the card. So here goes:

Soy sorry

I'm sorry that I have been M.I.A for a while. I went on a family trip to the beach over spring break and we just got back. As you will see I got right to work. While I was on vacation I noticed that lettering delights released a new SVG called bento box it has some really cute cuts. While on my mini vacay my little cousin purchased a shirt that gave me the inspiration for this card. I hope that you all like it as much as I do.

Challenge me Monday #56

This will be my last Easter card,so sad I know. I have a lot of Easter baskets and such to put together this week so I don't have much time to do cards. Moving on... I really hope that every one enjoys this card it is a cute one.

I have been using Sure Cuts A lot 2 software recently so I decided to make a card with a file I got from the lettering delights page. The bunny, chick, and eggs all come from the Easter beasties SVG file. I decided to make a joy fold card for this project because I had a lot of things that I wanted to incorporate into it.

I plan on entering this card over at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge the challenge this week is to use a bunny or chick cut in a card. I think I have both of those pretty covered.

Here the card is closed. Don't you just love that eaten bunny.lol. For the egg I used stickles and glossy accents to give it that extra boing I also used my irock to put those little diamonds on the corners

Here is my card opened. Again I used stickles and glossy accents for both the eggs

Finally here is the other flap of the card with my cute little chick and flowers.

Spring is in the air

Spring is definitely in the air in south MS I can tell because I am having some serious allergy problems. Oh well moving on to my card. I decided that I would incorporate april showers with spring flowers in to one card. I made a different type of card this is actually my first time making this type it's a crisscross type of card. Let me know what you all think about this card

This is how the card looks folded

One side of the card

The other side of the card I do apologize these pictures are not as good as usual my camera has been acting up.

The cutest eggy

I have been recently playing around with the Sure Cuts A lot 2 software and Lettering Delights SVG files and found the cutest egg files and I decided that I would use them. I am not sure of any challenges that I could enter this card in but if any of you all know of some please let me know because I think that this card is so adorable.

Recipe for eggy:
Oishii svg file from lettering delights for eggs
Lacy labels for the striped paper base
All paper was left over scraps that I had laying around.
Ribbon I am unsure of the brand
Peachy keen wide eyed faces stamps for faces
White jelly roll pen and chalk for cheeks
Saying was typed up on the computer
Glossy accents for egg whites

I'm back with a spring timecard

Ok I'm back and hopefully will be able to post a couple of the projects I have been working on over the next couple of days. For my spring time project I created a very cute Minnie mouse card. I got the idea for this card from my baby girls pj's. I hope everyone enjoys it.
